Alistair Law is a British designer. Trained as a structural engineer in
world renowned engineering company Arup, working on projects like the
new Centre Pompidou by Shigeru Ban before returning to Paris to study
industrial design at ENSCI Les Ateliers. His approach combines a minimal
aesthetic nourished by his childhood in Scandinavia with a complexity
inspired from nature. Light whether natural or artificial is a source of
inspiration and influences all his projects. He builds on his structural skills to give lightness to his work which crosses both architecture and design.
